Find the Small Things
Find the small things in life that make a difference. When you wake up, enjoy your favorite tea or coffee, and thankful to get out of bed in the morning. Take notice of the small things like textures observed in nature, or the stillness of the morning.
Make a gratitude list for yourself, what means the most to you? It’s amazing how long the list can get if you really step away and reexamine the good on your life.
Love yourself today. Go somewhere without distractions for self-reflection and embrace who you are. You are good, go ahead and love and forgive your shortcomings. Find the good in you!
Be a Kid Again
Do something for the kid inside of you. Take an ice-cream break, run in the woods, go to an amusement park, have a tea party, or eat icing out of the container.
Decide to be Happy
Make a firm decision that you will have joy and be happy in life. Making that decision will help you refocus thoughts in a positive direction, and rethink priorities of what really matters the most.
Encourage yourself by watching and reading positive stories. Try subscribing to a site or newsletter that reports on how people are shaping their world for the better. There is a lot of good we can squeeze out of this life, so get started.
